preparation & aftercare

Before your appointment

  • Lip Blushing Prep

    • If you’re prone to cold sores, take an antiviral prescription for 3-5 days prior to your appointment, and continue for 2 weeks after.

    • Avoid, caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    • Exfoliate lips each night for a week leading up to your appointment. Apply Aquaphor before bed.

    • Botox and filler must be done 30 days prior to your appointment.

  • Eyebrow Prep

    • Avoid, caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    • Botox and filler must be done 14 days prior to your appointment.

    • Avoid tanning before your appointment. Don’t come with sunburnt skin.

    • Let your brows grow out grow out as much as possible.

    • On the day of your appointment, fill in your brows how you typically would, so I can see how you prefer to wear them. Come with a clean face, no makeup or foundation.

  • Eyeliner Prep

    • If you use any lash growth serums, please stop using these solutions for 12 weeks prior to your appointment.

    • If you have lash extensions, they must be removed a week before your appointment.

    • Don’t wear makeup on your eyes on the day of the appointment, and make sure they are clean as possible!

    • Be sure to take out your contacts at the time of your appointment.

    • Avoid blood thinners, caffeine, and alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    • Botox and any other filler must be done 14 days prior to your session.

Aftercare

  • Lip Blushing Care

    • 1 hour after your session, wipe your lips with the provided cotton round. Repeat this step before going to bed.

    • You can use ice to help with tenderness and swelling.

    • Use Aquafor if your lips are feeling dry.

    • Avoid getting your lips wet during the first week.

    • Use a straw while drinking during the first week.

    • For 10-14 days, avoid sweating, saunas, pools, jacuzzis, tanning beds, direct sun/sunbathing, spicy/acidic foods, smoking/vaping, kissing, exfoliating products.

    • Results are not immediate. Your lip color will start off very dark/bold, then it will lighten up significantly, and eventually “bloom” around the third or fourth week. The final result will be 40-70% lighter once the healing process is complete. A touch up is recommended

    • 6 weeks after initial session.

  • Eyebrow Care

    • 1 hour after your session, wipe your brows with the provided cotton round. Repeat this each hour before going to bed.

    • Do your best to avoid getting your brows wet during the first week.

    • If needed, gently clean around the brows.

    • For 10-14 days, avoid sweating, saunas, pools, jacuzzis, tanning beds, and direct sun/sunbathing.

    • Avoid picking the brow while it’s healing.

    • Avoid applying makeup near the area of healing for 7 days.

    • Avoid exfoliants for 10-14 days after your session.

    • Your brows will go through a series of changes over the next few weeks. They may appear too dark at first, then they may get very light, and finally the color and definition should return in the 4th week.

    • A touch up is recommended 6 weeks after initial session.

  • Eyeliner Care

    • Slight swelling is normal immediately after your session, and for the following couple days.

    • Avoid soaking your eyes, wearing eye make up, washing your eyes, sweating, and moisturizer for the first 7 days.

    • You can gently clean your eyelids with a lightly dampened cotton round 1-2 times a day.

    • Avoid touching your eyes, or pick at any flaking during the healing process.
